This year we had a calm 24th of July! The kids were getting over the stomach flu, so we took it easy! We took long naps and when everyone had enough energy we went to the Chimp movie. Spencer giggled and enjoyed every minute of it, and Abby slept through the whole show. We came home and did our own firework show in the back yard! The best thing about Pioneer Day is that we got to have Todd home with us! The kids loved being with him and I loved having Dad home to help and play with!

Spencer loved fireworks! We have done some almost every night. I love Sparklers and we got a ton so we can continue with the fun until the end of summer! Spencer thought it was so cool to hold the blue smoke bomb!
