Silly Kids

This is what Todd and I found in his room at 11:30 at night. Penny put on his snow boots, hat and fireman jacket. He was also spiderman, batman and a doctor. The things that his little imagination comes up with. He loves to dress up and he loves to do anything but sleep! We both laughed really hard when this is what we saw! What a silly Kid!
This is what our little Abby Jane has been doing.... climbing up, in and out of everything! She loves to get into everything and anything. But, with a face like that she gets away with pretty much it all.

Teacher Treats

I know that I am not the only mom that is staying up way to late to make special treats for teachers, wrap presents for kids, and make surprises for friends, and sealing envelopes on Christmas cards. But, this was one of the more fun projects I have done. These were gifts for Spencer's teachers at school.
Pretzel Crayons: Pretzel dipped in red and green chocolate at the ends!
Wrapped in holiday messages made to look like crayons and put in a pencil holder...

With a little note and a bow, we made a yummy and fun present to show our appreciation to his teachers that love, teach, and care for my little 4 year old ball of energy!

Christmas Program

Spencer had his Preschool Christmas Program this week, and it was adorable. It was fun to see him interacting with his friends at school and watch him sing their songs. He loves going to Rainbow Connection and loves all his friends at school.

That is the cutest little face!

THE WALKING PRINCESS ABBY JANE

The Big News: Princess Baby is finally walking! She started walking at my parents house in PA. But, she has perfected her skills and is all over the place. Spencer thinks it is fun that she is a "big baby" now that she can walk. She is so cute and getting bigger by the minute. They truly do grow up way to fast!

Gingerbread Houses!

We had the Larson Cousins over for a party! We made ginger bread houses which was a big hit with kids big and small. Spencer enjoyed wondering from table to table seeing the different houses. I think he ate more candy than he put on our house! Rudolph decided to come and help too!
Here it is in all it's candy glory. Please make special note that the driveway has a U! Go UTES!

It was a great activity thanks Cousins, Aunts and Uncles for coming over and playing with us, we love you! Spencer decided this is where our elf "Ike" lives. Sounds good to me!

Our Little Lucy Friend!

We had our fun friends Darlene and Chris and baby Lucy come over for some holiday cheer. Abby was in Heaven with her little friend, Lucy! She kept giving her loves! It was too cute. What sweet little girls!
Lucy... Spencer... Abby

Spencer had to get his GAS MASK on when the little girls diapers needed changing. It was classic boy grossed out and going to drastic measures to avoid the smell and dealing with the dirty diapers! I am shocked Todd doesn't have a matching set! Thanks Carters we had so much fun! We love you guys!

Deck the Halls

Deck the Halls.... tables, trees, bedrooms, and every other space in the house. We are officially in Christmas mode! We have two parties down, and many more miles to go. It has been fun to have so many fun events to plan and look forward to. The kids are so happy and excited and so is mom. Happy Holidays and Happy Decorating!
The tree in all it's sparkled glory!

The Elf on the mantle is Ike and he is our favorite thing this season. He has been watching the kids and telling Santa every night if they have been naughty or nice! We hope more NICE than Naughty!

November Update

We had a very busy November! We have done lots of fun things and seen and played with a lot of our family. For Turkey Day we went to PA. to see my parents in the mission home. We went to Hershey sweet lights, movies, shopped, played with the Elder's, but mainly we heard a lot of "Nana Jane, Nana Jane", Spencer has a special love for Nana Jane. He pretty much followed her around everyday all day. We had a fun trip and only 7 months until they are back home! Thanks mom and dad for such a great visit. We love you! Spencer loving Nana Jane at Sweet lights
Spencer and Abby playing in the mission home!

We also have been loving all the fun games lately. Todd has been in Ute heaven with the football team. Spencer and Todd also had a blast at the Jazz game. He was so excited he slept in his "Williams" Jersey. The madness of sporting events never end at our house!

Dad brought home a race car from work. Spencer thought that it was for him! They went for a ride and it was all he talked about for days!
It was a fun and busy month. We are grateful for our many blessings. We love our family and friends and grateful for the gospel. Now we are getting ready for Santa!

Spencer...Did What?!

I got a call from Specer's Preschool on Tuesday informing me that Spencer stuck a googley eye up his NOSE! I quickly came and got him from preschool and took a very upset Spencer to the doctors to see if they could get it out. The Pediatriacian could not get it, so off we went to Primary Children's Hospital to get the Googley eye out. With much waiting and some good laughs and firsts for the nurses, the eye was out with of course a good sneeze! Spencer is one little character. It seems like he will be my kid with all the funny yet not so funny stories. So hopefully he learned his lesson and no more foreign objects in his nose..including FINGERS! Yucky Boys! Here is evidence of the Googley eye, he was so proud!
Todd took a little nap while waiting for the great Sneeze!

We had such a fun time at the Pumpkin Patch with our good friends the Carters! Thanks for showing us the finer things of Syracuse!

They had so many fun things for little kids and (big kids) to do. We went on a hay ride, shot corn from a cannon gun, rode in water jugs, went down a hay slide, had hot chocolate and kettle corn. It was a perfect fall night with family and fun friends!

Happy Kids!

I love any reason to celebrate! Any holiday is so fun for me because I have these two happy, loving kids that get so excited over the decorations, the treats, the count down chains, the errands to prepare for the big day and so on. I love that they are thrilled with life and enjoy the simple things that make traditions and memories treasured. With so many fun events coming in the next few months, we will be seeing these smiles and little giggles for days to come! These sweet kids make all the hard mom jobs worth it all, who wouldn't do anything for those kiddos!Love you Babies!

Pumpkin Decorating

Spencer and Abby by 2 of the 5 decorated pumpkins! They had so much fun watching the pumpkins come to life with their silly little faces. Spencer is taking his Alien pumpkin to show and tell, he is so proud of his decorating skills!

Happy Halloween!

Girls and the President

I was able to sneak away from my cute kids and hubby and join my sister to go visit my mom and dad in PA. It was so fun to be with them and experience their daily life. They are doing such a great job on their mission, and they are so loved by all their elders and sisters. I can hardly wait to go back over turkey day. I love and miss you mom and dad, but I am so proud and impressed by the loving and spiritual way you lead your life and the Harrisburg Mission!
