Daddy's Girl!

Abby and her dad! She melts his heart and she is just so kissable! Abby has gotten so big and is crawling all over the place and getting into everything. She makes the cutest faces and is a happy little thing. Her newest baby tricks include:

1.Clapping her hands on command, to cute!

2. Crawling on top of her brother, they have been enjoying little mini wrestling matches. (I don't think I have a future ballerina:)

3. She puts in her Binky upside down whenever she put it in.

4. She can pull herself up on furniture

5. Giggles at her brother and is ticklish everywhere. I love her belly laughs!

6. Has a new tooth and more to come!

7. Gives the best open mouth kisses!

She is such a sweet and fun baby girl and we all melt and love her so much! Good Job Abby on all your baby tricks!

UNDER CONTRACT!

We are so excited our cute house in St. George is under contract and set to close July 10. We are crossing our fingers that everything goes smoothly from here on out. We loved and hated that house! We loved it when we were going to be living in it, but hated it once we ended up staying in Salt Lake. So we are so glad with the slow market and everything we were able to finally make some progress with it! So hopefully everything will go great and we will be onto the next house!

Todd's Birthday!

We have been busy celebrating this week! We have had our niece and nephew Aspen and Dylen staying with us from St. George. We have had a ton of fun playing with them and all of our Larson cousins this week! We had a great BBQ for Todd to bring in his 32 year! I was so excited when I was able to find this fun addition to our party. The kids of course were in Heaven jumping all night long......

Spencer still wakes up wanting his bounce house castle! (so do I) It was so fun to watch them jump around. Dylen and Aspen slept in the bounce house until 3:30 when the sprinklers went off, sorry guys!

Our little Abbers swinging in her swing watching all her cousins being crazy. She also got her first tooth on dad's birthday! What a great gift Abbers!

All the Larson cousins together for the first time in a long time! Yeah for family, we love all of you so much and we loved playing with you this week! We can't wait for more fun times ahead!

So.. I can SEW

This is the pink flower rag quilt in all it's glory!

So I am taking my crafting to the next level. My wonderful sister taught me how to sew last weekend, and I finished my first blanket. It is adorable and was so fun to make, if I do say so myself. There will be many more quilts, blankets, pillows, and apron projects to come. Thanks again liz, you know I need another project!! Ha Ha Ha! My senior year when I was going through a rough time I turned to crafts as an escape, and have never turned back. I used to tell my mom that my motto was "Craft and Values". We ( the royal we; my mom, sister and I) have continued to live to that motto, but hopefully my values keep up with the amount of crafts:)

2 + 2 = 4

Today I watched my niece and nephew. So I had two toddlers and two babies. At times it was peaceful and at times there was chaos. It made me think of the family on the TLC show Jon and Kate plus 8. I only had four under three not to mention sextuplets on top of twins. I praised her efforts today as I have had much better mothering days. I sure do love those cute faces though, and it is super fun for my kids to have cousins so close that they love so much!

MEMORIAL WEEKEND

We had a great Memorial Day weekend, thanks to a fun visit by my sister and husband from Texas. I love seeing them and so do my kids! We had lots of fun with boy golfing outings, girls sewing outings, yummys, laughing, kids, visits, sleepovers and enjoying each other company. Here are some of the highlights of the weekend. This is mainly for you dad, as on Sunday we all went to visit Great Grandma Pugh. She is almost 97 and healthy. Thanks for all the fun CASTANEDA'S!(Also a big shout out to my sis. who taught me how to sew my first quilt is almost finished and is adorable!) The highlight of the grandma visit was the cute little pony that the kids loved to see!
Penny loves to hold his sister even though it can be dangerous at times!

Samantha and Spencer running around Great Grandma Pugh's backyard!

Spencer looking cool with Uncle Jose's Shades.

Abbers and her cute aunt Lizzy!

Todd and Great Grandma Pugh, she will be turning 97 in a couple of days! Only a few more years and she will be 100 so she can have her name on the Smuckers jar on the Today Show:)

Sammy and Penny riding on Great Grandpa Pugh's saddle. We loved playing on that when we were little. I love that room with the pool table and the classic red velvet walls. Spencer loved it even though you can't tell in this picture.

Transformers & the Princess

Spencer took this picture of his transformers with Abby's little princess doll. I thought to myself after three years of cars, trucks, balls, swords, superhero's, army guys, and transformers, I can hardly wait for princess, dancing, baby dolls, kitchen sets, coloring, and tutu's. I love that he wanted to include Abby while he was playing, so her doll needed to be saved by the transformers. He sure loves his little sister! So here goes another day of imagination, fun and giggles at our house!
