I DID IT, I DID IT!

Finally our Spencer is wanting and learning to use the big boy potty. We went today with no accidents minus a little number two problem, but who can blame him it's just day two. He is very proud of himself and wants to talk to everyone that calls about his great potty success. I am glad that we have made it to this stage he is most entertaining when he does his "I DID IT" dance. But he has had some classic lines in the last few days. He loves to wear his transformer underwear and when he had an accident he said, "Mom did I make Bumble Bee sad becuase I poo poo on him." Bumble Bee for those that aren't current on autobots is a transformer, on his underwear. Also tonight when we were saying prayers he said " thank you for me on the potty" it was to cute! I too am thankful for him on the potty, he will have this potty training KNOCKED OUT in no time! Way to go my little CHAMP!

Camping : Anna Style

THE RED BED TENT - ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS THAT I HAVE FROM MY CHILDHOOD!
Most of you know I am not a fan of camping. I think I lasted 2 days at girls camp and hated every second of it. There is nothing appealing to me about being dirty, having bugs all around me and either being too hot or cold. The only benefit of camping is the scenery and the smores. I figure you can always go for a drive or hike to appreciate and see the beauty of the earth and smores I have mastered over the flames of my gas stove. So, I have always appreciated camping in the RED BED TENT. Spencer has recnetly discovered the joy and comfort of camping in your own bed. It is to bad that Todd loves to camp so much, becuase the Hyatt is about as far as we have got to a camp-out in the last 7 years. Spencer is so cute with his flash light and blankets all ready for stories and ready for a good night sleep. Thanks mom for saving this treasured toy from our childhood it is a big hit with our little ones! So.... for all of you that will be camping in the next few months 1. Don't invite us :) 2. You can think of us in our warm comfy bed tents sheltered from bugs, dirt and bad weather! HAPPY CAMPING!

Baby Bedhead

Abby has so much hair, I LoVe it! When she woke up one morning she most definitely was visited by the hair fairy. She is just the best baby, I feel so blessed to have her. It is so fun to snug and make her giggle. She is truly a little princess. It has been 8 months of pure bliss with little Abby Jane!

Penny in a Box!

Penny has been hiding in small spaces lately. Everywhere I go he seems to have crawled in a drawer, closet, bin or even into the washing machine. He is so funny and laughs so hard when he has successfully got his entire body into the smallest place possible.

Motorcycle Madness

When we were coming home from the Carter's baby blessing we saw this scary/funny/wild/skeleton man on I-15. I had to take a picture it was to classic. I was just glad that it was not night time and I was driving because it scared me just enough in the day light in the passenger seat. I did love his enthusiasm for his bike though!

Easter Fun

SO PROUD AND HIS HANDS WERE DIED GREEN FOR SEVERAL HOURS!
Todd and the kids EASTER morning collecting eggs!

Cute Little Abby in her favorite chair watching Spencer decorate eggs!

We had a great Easter. It was an unexpected fun day for all of us. They bunny was extra kind and hid candy eggs and had baskets full of toys and surprises! We went to Lucy's baby blessing which was perfect. We had a great dinner with all the fixings and decorated eggs and visited Great Grandma Pugh. We loved being together as our little family and enjoying this wonderful holiday!

Sneaky Binky Pocket!

So my little Spencer is one funny kid. I have a million stories about him and the funny things that he says and does. I got an email from his sunbeam teacher and she began to tell me the stories and events of primary in Sunday. It started when she was beginning to teach her lesson on "I love and care for Fish" that the boys in the classroom decided they needed to go to the bathroom. Spencer who is still in diapers wanted to go as well. So she took all of them into the bathroom and everyone did their business and Spencer decided he wanted to go. Next thing she knew he had pants down and diaper off ready for business. She sat him on the toilet and nothing happened. But he pushed and groaned, washed his hands, did his "I did it" dance and that was the end of the potty. So if nothing else I may potty train him with friends he seems to cave under peer pressure:)

As they came back into the classroom she noticed that Spencer had a binky in his mouth. She thought it was a little odd but did not bother to take it out. I went and picked Spencer up and we went home and had a good Sunday with naps, snacks and a picnic in the toy room floor. I got this email from my friend about the events in Sunbeams and I asked Spencer "Where did you get a binky from?" he said " Mom it is from my sneaky binky pocket."I asked him what that was and he continued to show me his church pants. In them he had snuck a binky in his pocket. He officially named his church pants sneaky binky pocket. I love that he put the binky in his pocket without me seeing and that he put it back in his pocket without me seeing as well. I too would call it the sneaky binky pocket!

It is hard for little kids to grow up get rid of binkys and go on the big boy potty. If he had it his way he would be Peter Pan the boy who never grew up. But, he is the cutest boy in town and the sweetest. And his scripture power song is powerful in both spirit and voice level! You gotta love him!
