Dinosaur Museum

We had a fun time playing with Sammy, LaLa, and Alex at the museum. It was fun to watch the kids love spending time with each other and explore all the fun hands on projects for them to do. We had a fun day with lots of laughs and growling dinosaur noises!

Quilt Therapy

I have a "YES" problem! The Relief Society President asked if I would make a blanket for the Humanitarian Center. Well ...since I have just learned to sew and never done a blanket on my own before you would think my answer would be no. Or itleast, sorry I don't know how, or I wish I could but I don't have a clue how to do the binding etc. But since I have a "YES" problem, I agreed to do the blanket. In a panic and a few days until the blanket was due..... I needed help. To the rescue was my sister-in-law Lala! We being novice's tied and finished the dreaded Humanitarian blanket. But the blanket ended up being great therapy. She schooled me in the power on the word "No" and we laughed for three hours straight on the glory of this blanket. So a BIG THANKS to Lala for helping me and for the much needed laugh. So hopefully some little old lady (who has no clue about sewing) is snuggled up in this blanket warm and happy!

WHAT'S FOR DINNER?

Doesn't this little Chef inspire you to make something yummy for your family tonight!
HAPPY COOKING!

COUSINS

Tim and Melly came and visited this past weekend and we had so much fun! Spencer loves all his cousins but he really enjoys playing with Tommy! They played so well with each other and enjoyed dressing up, playing cars, play-dough, transformers, but the highlight was the sleepover in the toy room in the red tent. I think they stayed up laughing and watching movies until 11 or later but they were having so much fun we didn't care. When it seemed quiet we snuck in the room and found the two of them holding hands! What fun Cousins!

Spencer truly has so much love to give and like his dad said, " He has so much love in his heart!" He truly loves everyone and is such a treasure for me to raise. Thanks for such a great visit Tim and Melly. WE LOVE YOU!

HIDE and SEEK

Abby has a new favorite spot. She is so funny, she loves to climb underneath the bar stools on the kitchen island. I was seriously looking for her one morning, and there she was so sweet playing underneath the stools. Her little perosnality is coming out more and more and I love watching her grow and explore.

What a cute and happy baby!

STATE FAIR!

We took the kids to the Utah State Fair! I love the fair! We had such a good time riding scary fair rides, eating junk fair food like pizza, scones, Navajo tacos etc. We looked at all the animals and crafts! It was fun to be with our little family and have some fun! Mom and Spencer on the Dizzy Dinosaur
Dad and Spencer on the FUN SLIDE!

My boys in the fun house! Spencer loved this with his dad, it was too cute!

SCHOOL DAYS!

Spencer had his first day of PRE-SCHOOL today! He was so excited! He told me that I couldn't go, he needed to learn by himself! He is so big, I am so proud of him!
Even though the back pack is as big as him, he is in love with it... and of course it had to be BATMAN!

Is that not the cutest 3 year old in the whole world!

First school project and he did wonderful, my little Picasso! He also brought his first show and tell. He wanted to bring his picture book of animals that Nana Jane made him and an alligator toy! He loved going to the zoo a couple of days ago, so everything is about animals!

After school we came home and had yummy sugar cookies and talked about his day! I was so happy that he loved school! I cried for the first hour he was gone.... missing him, and praying and hoping that he would have a great time! I asked him if he made any friends and he said,"Lisa is my friend she was nice to me all day, she is cute all day and I love her!" So... he has had lots of first's today, school then his first love:) So here is to a great school year for our little Penny! We are so proud of you and love you more than all the alligators in the whole wide world!
